The youth, along with their counsellors and Fr. Pishoy, ventured on a trip during the March break which took them through three states from March 11th – 15th. They first drove to Patmos Coptic Monastery in Canadensis, PA where they spent a spiritual time in meditation, studying the Epistle to the Philippians, praying a Divine Liturgy, and meeting with Fr. Mauritius Anba-Bishoy for spiritual guidance. The group went on a day trip to the Sight & Sound Theatre in Lancaster County, PA to watch the Noah theatrical presentation and also visited the Hershey’s Chocolate Factory in Hershey, PA. The group were blessed to visit the Coptic Archdiocese in Cedar Grove, NJ where they met with H.G. Bishop David and attended the weekly spiritual meeting. On the way back, the youth spent some time shopping and relaxing in Rochester, NY. Overall, it was an amazing trip where the youth bonded with their counsellors and with one another. It was a time of spiritual growth, fellowship and fun. May our Lord reward all the wonderful counsellors who prepared and travelled on the trip for their endless effort and faithful ministry.
