From March 10-13, our youth travelled to New York and New Jersey to visit some of the local Coptic churches and spend time sightseeing. On Sunday, the group was blessed to enjoy a liturgy and a talk at St. Mary & St. Athanasius in Manville, NJ with Fr. Antonious Tanious. Afterward, the youth went sightseeing in downtown Manhattan, spending time at Ground Zero at the World Trade Center as well as Times Square. Also on the trip, the youth enjoyed spiritual talks at St. Mary’s Church in East Brunswick, NJ with Fr. Mark Hanna, and a visit from Fr. John Rizkalla from St. Mary & St. Athanasius Church. The trip finished with a day of shopping and a trip to a local indoor amusement park. All who attended the trip enjoyed spiritual benefit and grew together in fellowship.
