Over the Christmas holidays, a group of youth from SMSV, accompanied by Fr John and our youth servants, embarked on an adventure to Florida. It was a blessed week, where the youth shared times of laughter and fellowship together. The group had an action-packed week with two fun-filled days at Walt Disney’s Disney World, a visit to the Holy Land Experience and an evening at the Amway Centre watching Orlando Magic, Orlando’s basketball team, play live. In this blessed trip, the youth learned how to make the korban and led the congregation in the Divine Liturgy hymns. We also had times of spiritual discussion, talking about the importance of finding God’s will for our life and the distractions of the world. May the Lord continue to bless His youth and build them up to be godly men and women, the pillars of our church.
