SMSV is excited to announce the success of its very first Young Women’s Retreat, held on October 27-28 at Kempenfelt Centre in Barrie. The theme of this year’s retreat was “Chosen for a Purpose” and we were blessed with the guidance and leadership of Tasoni Sandra, Tasoni Debbie and Tasoni Mary throughout all of our sessions, workshops, and open question and answer period. The Women’s Ministry pampered us with a “Beautify Me” session and we also had the chance to experience an incredible liturgy thanks to the presence of Father John Boutros throughout the weekend. We are so thankful for this opportunity to spend a really blessed time together learning from each other and getting closer in fellowship and we pray that this retreat will be the first of many, God willing.
