We were so blessed to spend a beautiful weekend together at the Kempenfelt Centre as we attended SMSV & SMSK’s 4th Annual Women’s Retreat on September 19-20, 2015! We had a great group of women come together from all over the GTA and surrounding areas (and even from the U.S.) to focus on our theme of finding our true value through God’s eyes as “Diamonds in the Rough”. Thanks to all the hard work that was put in by the speakers: Tasoni Mary, Francella Brown and Claudine Dawoud, we had a weekend filled with spiritual reflection and growth. We also had a great opportunity for a question & answer session with all of our speakers as well as our very own Tasoni Sandra and Tasoni Debbie, and Tasoni Verena joining us from the Diocese of New York. We celebrated a beautiful Divine Liturgy together on Sunday morning with Fr Pishoy and it was the perfect way to wrap up the weekend. We are already looking forward to next year, God willing!
