The annual Victoria Day Long Weekend Retreat was held at the beautiful Kempenfelt Conference Centre by Lake Simcoe in Innisfil, Ontario. The theme this year focused on Henri Nouwen’s book The ‘Way of the Heart’. Three sessions and small discussion groups were held to discuss the three main points of the book being Solitude, Silence and Prayer which were inspired from the lives of the dessert fathers and mothers. God gave us a wonderful weekend with great weather and fellowship. Old relationships were rekindled and new friendships were created. We thank our Lord for this amazing time and we look forward for many more spiritual activities.
