Our Couples Retreat (10 – 25 years) this year at Kempenfelt Conference Centre on Feb 7&8, 2015 was a big blessing. The theme of our retreat this year was In His Steps being inspired from the verse “You should follow His steps.” (1 Peter 2:21) Over 15 couples enjoyed the fellowship, discussed and shared learning how to build our homes on God’s model of marriage and parenting. The retreat schedule included marital sessions about “God’s blue print for marriage”, “What are we to do as husband and wife” and “How to feel safe in Christ and in each other”. The group also had many opportunities to discuss in breakout groups and as couples both marital and parenting topics such as “How to pass on the legacy to our children” and “Age appropriate sex talk”. Overall, it was a great time of fellowship and growing together in the one body of Christ. We look forward for more family based activities in the future.
