On Saturday January 24, 2015 the Men’s Ministry team had their first outing of the year to The Scott Mission men’s shelter in downtown Toronto. A group of 5 men embarked the roads of Toronto with donations from the congregation ranging from clothes to hygiene products to be given out to the shelter. The men arrived to help with meal service, clean up and sitting with the men in the shelter after the meal. The shelter staff accepted this group with open arms and invited us to discuss more ways to serve the men of the shelter. The group was graced with great fellowship and a sense of oneness during the service. May the Lord bless this ministry for the glory of His name.
