On November 10, 2018 and November 24, 2018, The Holy Family Ministry held two seminars by Dr. Karen Wang, a consultant in Tyndale University and a child psychiatrist about “Building a Lasting Relationship with Your Children: Why Attachment Matters”  which she discussed the understanding concept of attachment and its impact on children’s mental well-being, Identifying own attachment style and the implications for parenting approach and Learn strategies that foster secure attachment in children. The second seminar was about “Building a Lasting Relationship with Your Spouse: Understanding how Attachment Affects Love and Marriage, which she discussed understanding the concept of attachment and its impact on your marital relationship, Identifying own attachment style and implications for how this relates to spouse and manage conflict in addition to Learning communication strategies to develop a trusting and satisfying marriage relationship.
The two events were insightful and provided vital information to the couples; they and were attended by many of the young families.
