The church launched
its second annual mini-series of Evangelism Training Workshops on November 7, 14 & 21, from 7-9 p.m., at the church office training room in Markham. The workshops were designed to train us to acquire more comfort when speaking to people about Jesus Christ, particularly to those who are not of the Christian faith. Fr. Pishoy launched the first session on “Characteristics of Orthodox Evangelism,” while Fr. Daniel facilitated sessions two and three on “Answers to Tough Questions” and “Sharing Your Testimony with Bible Verses,” respectively. A delicious pizza dinner was provided to all attendants and the workshop concluded with preparations for SMSV’s upcoming Survey Evangelism Christmas Carol Outing Saturday, December 14.
