BIOGRAPHY

I have been in finance for over 6 years now in various roles from consulting to now working as a financial advisor and planner, working with families and individuals to help them plan for their futures, children’s education, goals, and the unforeseen. I have been managing a portfolio of my own clientele now for over a year and have had the pleasure to deal with a diverse client base with a diverse set of needs.

I have strived to use my professional experience to serve our younger generations here at SMSV whether it be at our Tuesday night Crew meetings discussing finances and imparting some financial planning or through our marriage preparation ministry.

Ultimately we are all stewards of what God has blessed us with and I attempt to put that at the forefront of my professional life and my services in our community.

I have been blessed to grow up with my wife, Becky, here at SMSV as friends and now for almost 4 years, as my wife.

I am currently working towards higher accreditation in the field of finance and I intend to use any knowledge I gain to strengthen our ministries here at SMSV and professionally.

VISION

I intend to utilize my interpersonal skills as well as my professional background to ensure that our vision of love, outreach, and integration are furthered , as we face new challenges socially, and economically as they pertain to our congregation, ministries and especially our youth.

IDEAS / SUGGESTIONS

SMSV is my home, and as any welcoming home, I want to ensure that those that are a part of my home have resources and assistance available to them especially in their time of need. I would work with the board to review our current offerings of support are utilized properly and areas where we lack to be allocated time, energy and finances. As with any good home, we want to be welcoming to our neighbors and be a beacon for them, and we are already working hard to do so, my goal would be to enhance these attributes. This will entail budgeting, and investing in our ministries to ensure each ministries goal is being met.
