The church congregation enjoyed a beautiful picnic on Civic Day Long Weekend, Monday, August 5th at Kew Gardens by Woodbine Beach in Downtown Toronto. The day started by celebrating the Divine Liturgy to commemorate the three major feasts of Annunciation, Nativity, and Resurrection. The group then boarded a bus to Kew Gardens where they spent time walking by the beach, playing group activities, and sharing in a meal. Fr. Pishoy shared a meditation on The Virtues of St. Mary and How Can We Learn from her Life in preparation for St. Mary’s upcoming fast. Everyone went home rejoicing in the fellowship and the beautiful day which the Lord gave them. We look forward for more spiritual activities in the near future, God willing.
