On February 7, 2016, the church held its annual Chinese New Year celebration (year of the Monkey). Many church members presented the significance of this celebration worldwide and especially in Canada being a key entrance point in evangelism and witnessing to the Asian community. The congregation learned the New Year greeting in Mandarin and discovered some connections between Bible stories and Chinese characters. Members of the presenting team encouraged everyone to witness to their Asian friends where our new church is conveniently situated among a predominantly Chinese population. May our Lord bless every witness to the glory of His holy name.
