2015-Feb-15The church celebrated the Chinese New Year “Year of the Goat” on Sunday, February 15, 2015. Following the Divine Liturgy, the congregation listened to the significance of the Chinese New Year celebration and learned the greeting in Mandarin and Cantonese. Following the presentation, everyone shared in some Chinese finger foods marking the New Year. We are very thankful to God for the diversity within our congregation and the ability to celebrate the contribution of each culture to the church mosaic. It is definitely a part of our vision to celebrate multiculturalism as a core value of our church.
