On January 7th, the Church celebrates the birth of our Lord Jesus in Bethlehem of Judea according to the Julian calendar. Despite the extreme cold weather on that eve, the church congregation gathered at Garden Korean Church to celebrate this major feast. The Nativity Liturgy is filled with joyful tunes and hymns which remember the visit of the Shepherds, the Magi, the star, as well as St. Mary and St. Joseph. Fr. Daniel shared a meditation entitled “Silent Night” which focused on faith and the miracles of Christmas. The congregation shared together in an Agape meal following the Liturgy which lasted till after two O’clock in the morning. Many blessings and happy returns to our beloved congregation.
