Many church members were out on the streets of downtown Toronto on western Christmas eve bringing good tidings to persons on the streets, distributing winter clothes, sandwiches and hot chocolate while caroling beautiful Christmas songs. Our brothers and sisters the homeless were extremely appreciative that they were remembered on such a blessed evening especially that the climate was extremely cold. The streets of downtown Toronto were filled with prayer, cheer, singing, and giving glory to God. Many of the by passers stood with the group to sing Christmas carols and thanked the church team for their ministry. It was observed that so many people were hungry to hear God’s word on the streets. We pray that God reward the weekly sandwich run servants who arranged this event and we look forward for more opportunities to witness to God on the streets of Toronto.
