We were blessed during the weekend of November 22nd to host Barbara Georgi from Montreal to speak at the Youth Group as well as the J.O.Y. meeting. Barbara, who suffered a horrible accident this summer while serving in Kenya and lost part of her arm, witnessed in front of many youth and congregation members about God and how He had done many miracles for her. One of her greatest quotes was “I decided not to give up on God”. Her testimony was of great encouragement and inspiration for so many people who asked her questions and interacted with her. Most of our own Kenya Mission members were present in both presentations as they lived the events of the horrible bus accident with the Montreal team this summer. We are thankful for Barbara’s strong faith and her inspirational message to our youth and congregation and we pray for her full healing and recovery.
