Our 6th Annual Outreach Nights Community Event was held on October 11 & 12, 2013 at Garden Korean Church with the presence of Fr. Anthony Messeh. This year’s theme was “Who Are You? Know Your Identity in Christ”. Fr. Anthony mentioned that if we need to know who we are then we must discover first who Jesus is. The four sessions focused on “I AM: The Good Shepherd, The Light of the World, The True Vine, and The Way”. We were blessed by the presence of many fathers from the area and hundreds of youth, young adults, and adults. What made the event special this year was the number of Canadian guests from diverse backgrounds such as Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, Atheists, and many Christian denominations who attended through the invitation of their friends. Our worship team led the night with many beautiful songs which uplifted everyone’s spirit. Verena Rizg from Halifax was present with us both nights and shared Spoken Word poems and songs. We thank all the volunteers who helped to make these days very memorable and enjoyable. We thank our Lord for His blessing in this event and for the harvest which He has given us.
