On November 15-16, 2014, women from all over the GTA and surrounding areas joined together to attend SMSV/SMSK’s 3rd Annual Women’s Retreat. It was a wonderful time filled with fellowship with one another and our beloved Tasonis – Sandra, Debbie, and Mary. We were also blessed to have Tasoni Irinie Andrawes with us – she travelled all the way from Fairfax, Virginia to spend this wonderful weekend with us. We were challenged to grow deeper in our spirituality through the sessions provided by our speakers, Francella Brown and Tasoni Irinie on the topic of “Emotionally Healthy Spirituality”. We also spent a great time participating in a professional card-making workshop, run by Marian Shehata. We enjoyed a beautiful Liturgy together on Sunday morning that was the perfect way to wrap up the weekend! We also want to thank Abouna Pishoy for spending his 15-year ordination anniversary with us at the retreat. We are already looking forward to next year God willing.
