“Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit…” Act 2:3-4. We thank God for a joyful first celebration of Pentecost on Sunday June 4, 2017, in our new SMSV church building. Following the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, our congregation proceeded outside for the now annual release of the doves! This was a reminder that the Holy Spirit resides in each of us and that by His power, we are able to witness as the disciples did through our differing gifts. May God grant us to be a vibrant community witnessing to His Glory, and may He grant the world His peace.
