The Holy Family Ministry embraces love and support through education and guidance for families in the Christian communities. The Ministry encourages the Christian Families to live the Word of God in their individual, marital and family relationships; helps them examine themselves, and to grow in the knowledge of Christ. Integral to the Ministry is the spiritual support of the community to worship in truth and spirit, and experience the will of God in their lives.
Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
MARRIAGE PREPARATION

Matrimony in the Orthodox Church is a Holy Sacrament of uniting a man and woman. Through this Holy Sacrament, the man and the woman become one. Our Mission is to bring the awareness of this unity and to discuss the foundations that marriage is intended to be founded upon to last and to continue to grow.
For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh, So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.

The Rock is a fellowship to foster, enrich, and strengthen the Love of God in our marriages from day one. Our mission is to build our marriages on a strong foundation and grow in the knowledge of Christ in unity with others. We want our marriages to be rooted in Christ’s kingdom.

young families

Young Families Ministry serves the unique needs of families with young children. This ministry ensures both parents and children receive an opportunity to have spiritual fulfillment in a way that takes into account the limitations of having young children. Examples of offering includes; spiritual meetings with childcare, parenting retreats and activities for younger children on feast days. In addition, providing children’s programs in an environment that is child-friendly as well as enriching so that spiritual fulfilment does not have to wait until young children are older.

mothers who are on maternity leave or with young children
The Parent’s Club is designed to foster a community of mothers that is supportive and inclusive. A support system, particularly in early motherhood, unifies us as a congregation and lays the foundation for the future of our children in the church. The ministry has become not only a supportive environment but also a resourceful one where we learn from each other’s shared experiences. We want our parenting, our childrearing and our socializing to be rooted in Christ. During our meeting, we provide a relaxed environment for comfortable feeding, changing, or soothing children. Topics include sleep training, feeding, raising godly children, discipline and more.
