Carol Wahba
BIOGRAPHY
Carol Wahba works as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting, specializing in the care of the elderly. Carol and her family have been members of SMSV since 2017 and have been blessed to call SMSV their home. Her involvement in ministries include serving as part of the leadership within the Summer Camp Ministry, as well as supporting the Registration Team with various administrative responsibilities. Over the last few years, the Summer Camp has grown significantly by the grace of God, outreaching to members beyond the church community. Carol has been passionate about continuing to foster the vision of supporting the children and youth in their spiritual development and service.
VISION
God has been incredibly faithful in allowing me to be part of this blessed congregation. My personal experience of being loved and welcomed has directly influenced my desire to serve. My approach to service on the Church Board would seek to listen and observe the needs of our congregation.
As I have witnessed in serving in the Children’s Ministry, I truly believe that our youth are the future of the Church. I have seen firsthand the sense of ownership our servants have when given the opportunity to glorify Christ. My prayer is to bring this experience and perspective to my service on the Church Board to continue nurturing the growth of our youth and our community.
IDEAS / SUGGESTIONS
In addition to the administrative and financial responsibilities of the Church Board, the spiritual wellbeing of our congregation will always remain the highest priority. With that, I believe the Church Board should continue to gather in prayer with a unified heart to continue our fulfillment of our mission at SMSV.
I would like to introduce to the Church Board more outreach opportunities for our congregation, specifically our young children and youth to embrace their sense of belonging.
