SMSV’s adventurous congregation loaded two buses on Sunday, August 12th to journey to Cambridge, Ontario for an African Lion Safari excursion. The group went on a private bus tour, saw giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, camels, deer, lions, cougars, ostriches, rhinoceros and much more of God’s Animal Kingdom. Then, adventurers hopped on a train tour and coasted past elephants and wild Ontario birds. The group also enjoyed a boat tour, where they sailed past monkeys, chimpanzees, lemurs and exotic birds. Finally, participants enjoyed park facilities, gift shopping, lunch, and a meditation by Fr. Daniel on Obedience and Faith of St. Mary.
