The day of Pentecost is the birthday of the Christian Church where people of many nations, tongues and tribes gathered in Jerusalem and received the gift of the Holy Spirit as they worshiped together with one accord. This is a very special day for our church where we celebrate our unity in diversity. On June 4, 2017, many members of the church gathered together for an evening of celebration and joy. We participated in some group activities, beautiful singing by Mira Ghali and Stephen Saad and shared in an agape meal. We also heard an inspiring presentation by Dr. George Klas regarding the necessity to embrace all people in our church including members of all nations, children, youth, young adults and young couples. There is a necessity to communicate together in English which is their mother tongue so everyone would feel engaged and welcomed. We pray for our continued growth together as a community of faith that embraces and loves everyone.
