Fr. Pishoy was blessed to meet privately with H.H. Pope Tawadros II at St. Pishoy’s Monastery in Egypt prior to the enthronement ceremony. The purpose of the meeting was to congratulate our beloved Pope for the heavenly choice which brought joy to the whole world and specifically to our congregation. Fr. Pishoy presented the hand-made card which was designed and signed by our congregation congratulating His Holiness for the enthronement and extending prayers for a long and peaceful life. The discussion centred on briefing His Holiness about the church and its mission focused ministry. His Holiness was extremely encouraging and prayed for our congregation and the continued success of our mission. We are thankful that His Holiness recorded a special video message to our congregation of blessing and encouragement. May our Lord preserve for us the life of our beloved father H.H. Pope Tawadros II.
