New monthly mobile blood donation event at SMSV – in partnership with Canadian Blood Services

Blood Donation Schedule

SMSV has partnered with Canadian Blood Services to encourage eligible blood donors in Markham to support lifesaving care for patients in need of blood and blood product transfusions. Your generosity and commitment to help save lives never loses its importance. Blood donors like you are needed for patients undergoing surgery, cancer treatments, routine medical treatments for various diseases and disorders, and much more.

Truly, every donation appointment needs to be filled right now. Without your continued support, patients in Canada wouldn’t have access to lifesaving care where and when they need it. Please book your appointment today. All donations will happen at the All Nations Banquet Hall.

All blood types are needed.  Everyone 17 years of age and up who is able to is encouraged to donate. Encourage a family member, friend or colleague to book an appointment to donate as well. Together, apart, you can make saving a life your greatest gift.

Do not neglect to do good and share what you have…

You are not eligible to donate if you have:

  • Spent a cumulative total of three months or more in the United Kingdom (UK) between January 1980 and December 31, 1996
