On March 6, 2016, the youth of SMSV organized two sports activities to outreach the youth in the GTA. The first event was a Board Games night at the church of St. Luke. It was a great time where people were welcomed to come and play games with their friends. We were also selling a large variety of food. It was a relaxing night filled with laughs.
The second event was SMSV’s first ever volleyball tournament. Last year the youth hosted a basketball tournament and this year it was decided to change it up. The event brought in over 100 people including 12 different teams from all over the GTA (including Mississauga and St. Catherine’s). There were many exciting games throughout the day which entertained everyone. We got many great reviews from people who enjoyed their day. It was awesome seeing Christ’s love being seen through volleyball!
