The first Land of Immigration Conference was held at St. Paul Monastery Retreat House in Egypt from May 20-23, 2015 under the auspices and presence of H.H. Pope Tawadros II. The conference was also attended by 17 bishops from North and South America, Australia, UK, and Egypt as well as delegates from each diocese of priests and laity. Fr. Pishoy was part of the evangelism committee that spoke about the need for every parish to focus on evangelism and practical ways that this could be achieved.
The participants were all greeted personally by His Holiness upon their arrival and there was a beautiful spirit of cooperation and mutual understanding among all the delegates. Many recommendations came out of this conference which will be published by His Holiness. We thank the Lord for this amazing conference that brought many members of the body of Christ together from different parts of the world.
