Our congregation was blessed to meet with H.H. Pope Shenouda III in Cleveland on Saturday, September 27th. After greeting all the participants individually, His Holiness listened to a song which was presented by our children and received many requests for prayers and questions. Then, His Holiness retrieved back to his residence where he was joined by Fr. Pishoy in a private meeting. His Holiness engaged in a conversation with Fr. Pishoy and was updated about the ministry, the congregation, and the ongoing activities. His Holiness prayed for the success of our church and its continuous growth and effectiveness within the Canadian culture. Afterwards, His Holiness took the time to read all the prayer requests, the cards, and the questions which were presented to him and recorded on video the responses to all the questions that he received. Prior to our departure, His Holiness presented to our congregation a beautiful hand written icon for St. Verena which we will always cherish and value among ourselves. We praise the Lord that we learned the great news that His Holiness will be arriving
