The church organized its annual overseas mission trip from June 1 – 12, 2015 to Bolivia. The group spent months in preparation to equip themselves for this joyful mission. The missionaries learned Spanish, collected medications and donations, held spiritual meetings, and prepared lessons prior to their visit. They were welcomed by H.G. Bishop Youssef who spent much of his time mentoring the missionaries and accompanying them throughout their journeys. Everyone experienced God’s love in the Bolivians who welcomed the group at the airport, held a welcoming party and a farewell party specifically for our missionaries. The group had the opportunity to minister to children, youth, young adults, families, the sick, visit orphanages, and villages. We also felt the special love of the monks and sister who are serving the church in Bolivia. Everyone came back praising God for a fruitful ministry in South America and longing for another visit, Lord willing.
